To make sure you’re getting the best value for your air purifier, it’s important to consider these four factors to choose the right air purifier to accommodate your household air needs.
1. Know which contaminants you’re looking to clean outta the house! Dust, pollen, and pet dander are common options
2. Know the dimensions of the area you want to clean (portable air purifiers are designed to filter the air in a single room)
3. Know the capabilities of the air purifier you’re considering. This includes the type and number of filters they use, the percentage efficiency rate, the amount of clean air they deliver (high CADR is what you’re looking for), and the contaminants that specific purifier targets
4. Know your filters. The most important variable in the air purifier is the filter. We’re confident the best choice to filter particles is a purifier with a HEPA filter
